Peer Review Policy – ISDCP 2026 Conference Proceedings
1. Initial Submission
-
Manuscript Upload: Authors must submit their complete papers via the official conference submission portal before the announced deadline.
-
Submission Standards: Papers should comply with the prescribed formatting and style requirements. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review by any other conference or journal.
2. Preliminary Screening
-
Editorial Review: Each manuscript will first undergo an editorial check to confirm its alignment with the conference themes, formatting guidelines, and basic quality requirements.
-
Plagiarism Verification: All submissions will be scanned using plagiarism detection software. Any paper with unacceptable levels of similarity will be rejected outright.
3. Reviewer Allocation
-
Assignment of Experts: The Technical Program Committee (TPC) will designate at least two reviewers who specialize in the relevant subject area.
-
Review Format: The process will follow a single-blind model—reviewers will know the authors’ identities, while authors will not know the reviewers.
4. Review Process
-
Assessment Parameters: Reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based on:
-
Relevance to conference scope
-
Originality and contribution to knowledge
-
Technical accuracy and methodological rigor
-
Quality of presentation and organization
-
Adequacy of literature review and referencing
-
Impact and importance of findings
-
-
Reviewer Feedback: Detailed reports will be provided with constructive comments. Recommendations will fall under one of four categories: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
5. Editorial Decision
-
Synthesis of Reviews: The TPC will consider all reviewer feedback before making a decision. In cases of conflicting evaluations, a third reviewer may be consulted.
-
Author Notification: Authors will be informed of the decision and will receive reviewer comments. If revisions are requested, a resubmission deadline will be specified.
6. Revision and Resubmission
-
Revised Papers: Authors must resubmit revised manuscripts with a response document addressing reviewer comments.
-
Further Review: In cases of major revisions, the revised submission may be sent back to the same reviewers for re-evaluation.
7. Final Decision
-
Acceptance: The TPC will finalize decisions after reviewing the revised versions.
-
Official Communication: Accepted authors will receive an acceptance letter along with instructions for preparing the final manuscript for publication.
8. Preparation for Publication
-
Camera-Ready Copy: Authors must upload the final version of their paper in line with publisher formatting guidelines.
-
Final Checks: The editorial team will carry out proofreading and formatting consistency checks.
